Peggy Carter literally ‘Didn’t see it coming’ in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness

It was exciting to see Peggy Carter at first in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness. The creators tried their best to make her character similar to what we saw in What If.

But it was a cliché when she said this. She tried her best. But the truth is her character was just meant to tease us that everything is possible in MCU. Also, Carter jumped to fight without assessing her enemy first hand.

Fighting witches fueled by magic is not what super soldiers do.

This was Captain Carter’s first appearance and that too not in Earth-616. Hence, it was obvious that it was lousy writing for her character.

Her shield sliced her body into two halves. Just look at her face. It has the literal expression of ‘I didn’t see that coming.’

It was terrifying for a moment to see her meet this fate.
