She-Hulk: Weak writing leads to mediocre results

For the week of August 22–29, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law ranked 9th with 390 Million Watch

minutes. The first for the same week is Echoes (Netflix) with $1.12 Billion views.

But this numbers omit a majority of people who download shows through other platforms. So, obviously a greater number of people may have watched She-Hulk.

It’s hard to hire writers who are huge comic book fans. But a good writer refers to the source material and improvises the character if needed. That’s what Marvel writers have done so far. Not all of them were huge comic book fans.

The writers of She-Hulk even admit that they couldn’t write some of the scenes properly.

But my take is that you can write whatever you want but in the end, it’s the Studios who green lit this show. It’s as if Marvel didn’t care for the plot. This is not the first time that it has happened and neither will this be the last.

Now, I haven’t read the comics but in the comics too Daredevil is She-Hulk’s love interest and that’s exactly where this show is heading right now.

So, doesn’t matter if the writers weren’t huge comic book fans, this show was always going to be mediocre. So far, it only has 2 good episode; 1st and 7th. Rest everything seems stretched with nothing adding value to the MCU overall. ‘Breaking the fourth wall’ sometimes does seem a bit forced to me.

I rest all my hopes with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever now.
